I do both! I have a studio in Southwest Omaha near 120th and Center in Bel Air Plaza. I also love to shoot at all the beautiful local parks. On-location shoots at your home or a special location are always an option as well. Now...can we shoot studio/park/home/on-location all in one session? No, but I can customize any session or package to add additional time, split into different sessions, and make your vision happen however it works best!

I have a collection of props from over the years, and I'm constantly buying new finds that would look great for photos. For most sessions I have what we'll need, I am absurdly crafty and make like 75% of my own props and sets. Generally if we are working on a custom theme that requires specific items, I will help find the items for you, but you will purchase them and bring them to the studio with you or ahead of time for me to setup. Smash cakes, helium balloons and usually any food is client-provided. As for wardrobe, I don't keep a fully stocked client closet, but I am adding pieces as I come across items that photograph well. I do maintain a "wish list" for props and outfits and if you choose to buy those for your shoot, I'll partially reimburse you for those items and I'll add them to my collection.

When you are scheduling for newborns, I'd like a couple months notice of your due date, then when baby comes we'll set a date that is between 7-21 days old. The best age for the newborn session is determined by so many factors, so we'll discuss all of that and schedule the best time for you.

1-4 Months old...this is a delightful time where the babies are exceptionally bad at being posed and keeping their limbs where they should be, so I don't suggest elaborate shoots at this age. Those brand new smiles are great though, so we can plan something simple to capture these months. Usually posing on tummy, or back, or tummy then roll to back. Seriously not a lot of variety. That is why I like to do cuddle with mom/dad shots for this age.

Sitters and up - It's best to schedule them based on their physical milestones for the most variety in posing and interaction from session to session. Sitting, pulling up, standing, walking, these are the different skills I love to photograph. It just so happens that it usually correlates well with my Milestone Packages such as Newborn, 3 month, 6 Month, 9 Month, and One year.

Much like most businesses, masks are worn by all except those being photographed. Additional cleaning of hard surfaces done in between shoots. Regular sanitizing of props and furniture. I've always had the sick policy which is basically if you are feeling unwell, let's reschedule for everyone's comfort and safety.

I think the question is what do I NOT offer...For kids, all the holidays, the biggies are Valentines, Easter, 4th of July, Halloween/Fall and Christmas. For families I offer limited Mini sessions during the spring and the fall, both done on-location at our beautiful local parks. Some of my Christmas sessions are also for family. Throughout the year when I have fun ideas I'll offer up a couple unique sessions that usually have limited spaces so those book up fast.

I don't take deposits at this time. I will send out email/text reminders of your session and a Paypal invoice that needs to be paid before the scheduled shoot (usually sent 1-2 weeks in advance).
